The Cloud9World program was launched in 2010 by Andrea Nachtigall, María Candelaria Smith and Lorenza González, Colombians in the US. It conveys a deep interest in the well-being of others, by obliging the students’ internalized values and social-emotional abilities as an ethical guide as they mature into good young people and adults.

Historically, values have been learned at home, but unfortunately most families today have little time to devote to their children, especially to single parents or those whose parents are facing the challenges of survival.

The growing challenges in public education, which are mainly based on exams and assessments, require immersion programs that are ready to be run, as character formation has often a low priority.

The program is currently being implemented in the US and six other countries.

Cloud9World – Europe, consisting of Ernesto Schobesberger and his staff, represents the Cloud9World program in Europe.

Texts and stories have been adapted to their vocabulary and idioms and some of the stories have cities or European regions as protagonists.
